Surkunda Devi Temple is located on the hill top, in the Dhanolti region of Mussoorie. The temple is on the Mussoorie Chamba Road, 40km from Mussoorie, 7km from Dhanaulti, 66km from DehraDun and 25km from Chamba.
The Devi temple is located on the hill top, with motorable road till the bottom of the hill, followed by 2km trek. The trek is tough and steep with lots of monkeys enroute.
Surkunda Devi temple is in the Dhaulti range, which witnesses one of earliest snowfall as compared to nearby regions like Mussoorie.
