The Devi temple is located on the hill top, with motorable road till the bottom of the hill, followed by 2km trek. The trek is tough and steep with lots of monkeys enroute.
Surkunda Devi temple is in the Dhaulti range, which witnesses one of earliest snowfall as compared to nearby regions like Mussoorie.
At the bottom of the hill, there is parking space available for vehicles. There are some eating points as well, offering hot tea and snacks.
On the hill top, behind the temple, there is large ground area, with eating joints offering snacks like hot Maggie, tea and biscuits.
