DehraDun, the capital of Uttarakhand is a popular weekend destination from New Delhi, located at a distance of just 250 km from the Indian capital. DehraDun is also called Dron Nagar, after the name of Guru Drona Charya, who performed penace here. Guru Dronacharya was the great teach of Kauravas and Pandavas.
