A shiva temple located on DehraDun Mussoorie road, usually visited by everyone travelling to or fro from Mussoorie. The key part of this temple is that the temple does not accept any donations what so ever. The temple also serves hot tea and khichari at no cost for the devotees.
In the temple arena, there are shops of gem stones (like rudraksha) which can be bought on payment. The temple attracts a lot of tourists on shivratri. The region, where temple is located is called Kothal Gate. Visitors need to spend some time in the calm and cozy environment of the temple to seek divine blessings. Just outside the temple, there are local snacks shops serving ice creams and snacks items.
