The most popular route from Delhi to DehraDun is via Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee and then DehraDun. This route has the maximum traffic as compared to the other routes. Even though this route is longer, but some travelers prefer this route when there are traffic jams on occasions like Kanwar month in July, when the route 1 is blocked by Kanwars.
