The weather is hot in Rishikesh during summers. To beat the summer heat, Rishikesh has a couple of natural waterfalls, on the outskirts of Rishikesh. Tourists visit these natural waterfalls in summers to take a dip in natural springs.
1. Neergarh Waterfall: The natural spring waterfall is located at a trekkable distance from Rishikesh Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, and this waterfall is a perfect trekking destination in Rishikesh. It takes just one hour to reach Neergarh Waterfall by trek, from Laxman Jhula.
2. Garud Chatti Waterfall: Garud Chatti Waterfall is the natural waterfall located on Rishikesh Neelkanth Road, just three km from Laxman Jhula. There is also a small temple with name Garud Chatti Temple, very close to Garud Chatti waterfall.
