The entrance to the picnic spot is paid. Alcohol and cigarettes are not allowed here. Since the stones are sharp in the water, slippers are available on rent here. Tourists can climb on the caves to add to the adventure. There is paid locker facility as well around the caves. 
In the earlier days it was a natural picnic spot. Nowadays, it has become a commercial spot. It is still worth going there.

The place is worth the visit with family, especially during summers. Expect a large crowd during the weekends.

Robbers cave is located at a distance of around 8km from Clock Tower DehraDun. It is well connected by local buses as well as autos.
