The temple is blessed and the tourists can feel the divine aura in the temple. 
The reason why its called Kainchi Dham is due to the location of the temple in between the two hills that cut and cross each other like a scissor (Scissor in hindi is called Kainchi).
Baba Neem Kairoli got Samadhi in year 1973. 
Every year in the month of june, a fair is organized at the temple, and is visited by tourists from far off places.
The temple is located on Bhovali Almora Road, 45km from Almora, 18km from Nainital and 37km from Kathgodam.
