Himalayan Yog Ashram was founded in year 2012, with the vision of providing yoga teacher training and ayurvedic healing programs. The Ashram is located in tapovan area of Rishikesh, at 2.5km from Ram Jhula and 1.4km from Lakshman Jhula.

The Ashram is beautifully located, surrounded by mountains and river Ganga. The founder of Ashram is Yogi Ram, who stays at Ashram, and a disciple of Swami Hanuman Giri. 
Ashram has a yoga shala, where all ayurvedic treatments are done.
The ashram routine is designed in such a way that it gives the feeling of living a yogic lifestyle to the residents. 
From time to time, ashram organizes various programs like ayurvedic detox program, ayurvedic anti stress program, and advanced asana course.
Ashram also organizes yoga teacher training programs from time to time.

A typical daily schedule at Ashram has morning pranayam, meditation, yoga practice, brunch, ayurvedic treatments, meditation (evening) and silence. The schedule is planned in such a way to give way to spiritual awakening.
Ashram has its own vegetarian kitchen, which cooks the food for residents of Ashram.
Ashram has airy bedrooms available for the tourists, with attached bathrooms and toilets. Ashram also has roof terrace, for the tourists to enjoy sun during winters and moon during summers.
