Tiger Falls is located at a distance of just 5km from main Chakrata Bus Stand. The road is motorable till four km, with the last one km has to be travelled by foot.
The one kilometre trek is tough and hence must be travelled with caution.
There are many camping options in Chakrata and around, especially near Tiger Falls. 
The reason for the name Tiger Falls, is as the water hits the ground, it creates the tiger roaring sound.
The walk to the waterfall is great for trekking lovers as it passes through forests, greenery and village, giving the tourists a mix of rich experience.
