Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh is a popular spiritual place in Rishikesh. It is an Ashram with accommodation facility for the tourists. The Ashram is located on the banks of holy river Ganga, in Swargashram Area of Rishikesh.
Just outside the Parmarth Niketan is installed a large Shiva idol amid the river Ganga. The large Shiva idol was washed away in the popular Uttarakhand Floods of 2013, however it was resurrected later.
From time to time, camps are organized at Parmarth Niketan on topics like Reiki, Accupressure, Yoga, Meditation, Stress Management etc.

Swamiji is the president and spiritual head of parmarth niketan ashram at Rishikesh. He has a large fan following in India and abroad. Swamiji is personally present at Ganga Aarti performed in the evening, opposite Parmarth Niketan. Swamiji has received multiple awards from Government of India as well as Government of Uttarakhand.
About Paramarth Gurukul:
Under the inspiration and guidance of Swamiji, there is a gurukul running at Parmarth Niketan. It is boys only gurukul, offering vedic knowledge to the gurukul students. A typical day in the life of gurukul students includes seva, reading the scriptures, meditation, yoga etc.
