Parade Ground has huge playing area where Doonites come to play cricket, badminton and volleyball. On one side of the park is DehraDun’s famous girls school – Convent of Jesus and Mary, other side is Gandhi Park, on third side is Doon Club – a prominent club of DehraDun. On Sundays, Sunday market is organized at Parade Ground, where general items are up for sale at throw away prices. On one side of the Parade Ground is Tibettan Market.
There are multiple hotels, restaurants and shopping complex around Parade Ground in DehraDun. There is a famous cinema hall with name Kanak, besides the Parade Ground.
DehraDun local bus stand is located on one side of Parade Ground. From here, buses for Rajpur, Raipur, Premnagar and other locations of DehraDun can be caught.
