The beautiful park is a perfect weekend destination for couples and children. There is a lot of playing area having swings and slides. There is a lot of open play ground for children. Parents need to be careful with their children here, as one side of MDDA Park is hill cliff. Although there is railing to avoid fall out, but during the rainy season, it becomes slippery. The park offers wonderful mountain side view. The entry to the park is paid. During winters lots of families come here to take sun bath. Within the park, there is small canteen as well offering snacks. DehraDun Zoo is very close to the MDDA Park.
