Welcome to IMA DehraDun

IMA stands for Indian Military Academy. This is one of the feathers of DehraDun, something for which Doon is famous for. The academy is located on NH72, around 10km from clock tower, DehraDun. The national highway bifurcates the campus between the North Campus and South Campus.

IMA campus is spread across 1400 acres, consisting of facilities for swimming, horse riding, para gliding, para dropping, battle training, shooting practice range etc.
The popular structures in IMA campus are:
Chetwood Hall: This is the administrative headquarter of IMA, where all the trainings are held. It consists of computer lab, cafeteria, lecture hall etc.
Khetarpal: This is a popular auditorium in IMA campus with seating capacity of over 2000 seats.
A war memorial is built within IMA campus to pay homage to the valiant IMA alumni, who fought bravely and gave their precious life fighting for their country.
There is IMA museum as well which displays artifacts.
There is a separate IMA helipad in Tons Valley.

Famous For :

Every year in the month of June, IMA passout parade is carried out in front of Chetwood Hall. The pass out parade is considered as the last step before being commissioned as lieutenants in Indian Army. The pass out parade is witnessed by international brand ambassadors.
