The toursists can take the holy bath at Gau Ghat. This ghat is less crowded as compared to Har Ki Pauri. There are a lot of eateries around the ghat. The good part is tourists can pay for the food of some poor kids over here.
Why the name Gau Ghat?
Gau means Cow. Gau Ghat is for the people who have sin of killing the cows. It is believed that by bathing at Gau Ghat, people can ward off their sins.
