The zoo is spread across 25 hectares of land area. The zoo has lots of caged animals, including leopards, deer, neegai etc. Amond the birds, one can see ducks. Monkeys roam freely in the park. The play area of the park has swings and slides. The park also has canteen area for refreshments. The park offers ample parking space. 
During the monsoon season, one can find lot of snakes and other reptiles due to the surrounding forest area. Tourists need to be careful in the rainy season.
The park also has a small machan, heightened platform, on which tourists can climb and have an elevated view of the surrounding.

The park is part of Malsi Reserved Forest Range.

The park attracts a lot of crowd over the weekend from DehraDun.
